Session locations and lengths

Accessibility is important to me and one way I have built this into my practice is through offering different session locations and lengths.

Office, Online, Nature

I’m based in Nelson, BC and support folks throughout the Kootenays, including Castlegar, Rossland, Kaslo, Salmo, Ymir, and Trail. If you’re local, you’re welcome to meet with me in my downtown office or outside in nature—both offer grounded, supportive spaces for somatic and trauma-informed work.

I also offer virtual telehealth sessions so you don’t need to commute, and so we can connect no matter where you live—even internationally. You’re welcome to try any of these formats or switch between them depending on what feels best. I describe each option in more detail below.

80, 65, or 50 minutes

Most of the people I work with choose longer session lengths because they provide more spaciousness and give us time to settle, go deeper, and support full integration within one session. While many therapists only offer 50-minute sessions, I provide 65- and 80-minute options as well, because I consistently see how beneficial they are for clients who want to explore at a steady, embodied pace.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

Located in downtown Nelson, my office is a quiet, grounding space designed to support neurodivergent nervous systems — warm lighting, room to move, fidget toys, and a fully synthetic-scent free environment.

Some people find that being in the same room makes it easier to settle, feel supported, and tune into the deeper layers of their experience without the distractions of home. If you’re wanting a steady space that holds you week to week, in-person sessions can be a helpful option.

Nature-based therapy gives your body a chance to settle in ways that don’t always happen indoors. Being outside can soften the pressure, slow your nervous system, and help you feel more connected to yourself while giving us ample opportunity to lean into nature as source of co-regulation.

Some people find that moving through a forest trail or sitting still in a natural landscape makes it easier to listen inward, notice what’s happening in their body, and explore the deeper layers of their experience with more ease.

Online sessions make therapy accessible no matter where you live. You can settle into your favourite chair, be surrounded by the things that bring you comfort, and show up exactly as you are.

I support folks across Canada and beyond, including communities I’ve lived in—Tofino, Ucluelet, Kamloops, and the Lower Mainland—so you can access somatic, trauma-informed care from wherever you call home. All you need is a private space and a steady internet connection.
